TURGUIDE FOR INDRE NAMDAL

NAMSSKOGAN 38 TURBESKRIVELSE/DESCRIPTION: Håpnesklumpen er en fin tur i nærheten av Namsskogan, 3 km hver vei. Turen starter ved Vertshuset Nams-Inn. Følg først gangvei opp til kryss i Frøyningsdalen, velg veien opp mot Høydebassenget. Ved Høydebassenget finner du bok for registrering. Du har nå gått 1,6 km og beveget deg 70 høydemeter. Turen forsetter på sti gjennom skog og noe myrterreng, 140 høydemeter til opp mot toppen av Håpnesklumpen. Fortsett videre nordover fra toppen og ta til venstre mot Frøyningsdalen/Freavna for en litt annen rute på veien tilbake. The hike to Håpnesklumpen is a nice 6 km walk, located close to Namsskogan. The hiking trip starts at Vertshuset Nams-Inn. First, follow the footpath up to the junction in Frøyningsdalen valley, choose the path towards Høydebassenget. Here there is a book where you can register your name. You have now walked 1,6 km and 70 meters of elevation. The hike continues through some forest and some marshland, with 140 meters of elevation to the top. From the mountain top, continue north and turn left towards Frøyningsdalen/ Freavna for a different route back. ADKOMST/DIRECTIONS: Parker bilen ved Vertshuset Nams-inn i Namsskogan sentrum, like ved E6. Kommer du med tog kan du gå fra togstasjonen til startpunkt (ca 500 meter) Park your car by Vertshuset Nams-Inn in the centre of Namsskogan, along the E6. If you arrive by train you can walk from the train station to the starting point (approx. 500 meters).
