SUBPRO Subsea Production and Processing
The Technical committee is responsible for monitoring the scientific quality
and industrial relevance of the Centre activities and for giving advice to the
Centre board about technical matters.
The committee consists of 2-3 technical representatives from each industry
partner and the research area managers and project managers from NTNU
SUBPRO has established three reference groups for the following areas:
- Field architecture and RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintenance and Safety)
- Separation
- System control
The reference groups provide
technical advice to the projects,
discuss possible applications of
expected project results and help
establishing direct cooperation
between the projects and the in-
dustry partners. Business cases
are used to adapt the research
to realistic challenges of existing
and new types of fields around the
world. In the reference groups,
PhD candidates, Postdocs and re-
searchers meet people from the
industry and get direct feedback to
ongoing work.
The first reference group meeting in Trondheim in September 2015 discussed working plans for
the coming three years and established sub groups for the different research areas.
